Services & pricing

Published prices, quoted flat, per month.

Bookkeeping is billed hourly almost everywhere, which means the invoice arrives after the work and nobody can plan around it. We quote a flat monthly fee from two weeks of your actual transaction volume, and it does not move for a year.

Monthly bookkeeping

The core service, and what 9 in 10 clients buy.

All bank, credit and merchant accounts reconciled monthly; transactions categorised against a chart of accounts built for your trade rather than the generic default; profit-and-loss statement, balance sheet and cash summary delivered by the tenth. Each delivery includes a short written note about anything unusual — a duplicated vendor, a missing deposit, a subscription that doubled.

From $420 / month

Catch-up & cleanup

For files that are behind, broken, or both.

We rebuild from the bank feed forward, rather than trying to repair a file whose history nobody trusts. Typical projects run three to six weeks for one to two years of transactions. You get a written scope before we start, including what is genuinely not reconstructible — usually cash transactions and anything paid personally without a receipt.

Quoted per project

Payroll

Run it, file it, and send you the confirmation.

Semi-monthly or biweekly runs, direct deposit, quarterly federal 941s, Colorado unemployment filings, and year-end W-2s and 1099-NECs. New-hire reporting handled. We send you every filing confirmation the day it clears rather than keeping them on our side.

From $140 / month + $12 per employee

Sales tax

Colorado home rule is the reason this is its own line.

Colorado has over seventy self-collecting home-rule jurisdictions, which is why sales tax here costs more than it does in most states. We register you where you actually have nexus, file monthly or quarterly per jurisdiction, and keep the schedule so nobody has to remember that Aurora is not Denver.

From $95 / month

Accounts payable

Bills entered, approved by you, paid on time.

Vendor bills entered and coded, routed to you for approval, and scheduled to take early-pay discounts where they exist. You keep the approval and the bank access — we never hold signing authority on a client account, and no firm should.

From $260 / month

CFO advisory

For decisions that need more than a P&L.

Cash-flow forecasting, pricing and margin analysis, hiring plans, and the loan or lease conversation with your banker. Available as a retainer or ad hoc. This is the one service we will actively talk you out of if your books are not clean yet — advice built on a bad file is worse than none.

$310 / month or $220 / hour

Bundles

What a business your size usually ends up paying.

These are real client bundles with the names removed. Your quote comes off your own transaction count, but this is the range to expect.

No setup fee, no onboarding fee, and no charge for the first month if we do not deliver a clean close on time.

The team

Four people, and you will know which one is yours.

Ledgerline is deliberately small. Every client is assigned one bookkeeper and one partner by name at the start of the engagement, and neither changes without a conversation first.

Marisol Ortega, CPA

Partner

Fourteen years in public accounting before Ledgerline, most of it on construction and trades clients. Handles the cleanup projects, because they need someone willing to tell an owner the truth about the last two years.

Danny Rieger

Partner

Ran the books for a 60-person restaurant group for nine years, which is where the flat-fee model came from — he had been on the other side of hourly billing and hated it. Handles payroll and sales tax.

Priya Raghavan

Senior bookkeeper

Eleven monthly clients, mostly professional services and e-commerce. The person most likely to notice that a subscription quietly doubled, because she reads the detail rather than the totals.

Theo Brandt

Bookkeeper

Joined from a franchise tax office two years ago. Runs the accounts payable service and does the second review on every close before it goes out.
